Tonight I experimented with the neater edge casting on method for this bag, not that it really needed it because a cuff will be made, but I wanted to see how it would turn out. I took a photo of it before I made the brim/cuff. It does seem to have a tighter edge.
Below is a photo of the brim that will make a casing for the 2 foot I-cord drawstring. See, the I-cord is coming in handy already. Now I just have to figure out how to get the cord into the inside of the casing. This should be interesting.
Included in this photo is my notebook I created for all my Knifty Knitter instructions, stitches and patterns that I have been collecting.

Cool banner! ;-)
I love the notebook idea!!!
What about putting the i cord in the brim as you pull it up, but before putting the loops on? Does that make sense?
Oh, yes, I thought of that idea after I turned the brim! I ended up crocheting a chain stitch with 3 strands and then used a notched popsicle stick to thread the cord through.
P.S. - I love having this notebook. I have so many patterns and tutorials I collected from the 'net. Before the notebook, I had papers everywhere. I needed to get organized. I bought one of those notebooks that has the clear plastic insert in the front. I printed out a photo of my KK set, and placed inside the plastic insert. It turned out pretty neat.
I too have a binder for collecting my patterns etc in, now to print them all out.
